THE OFFICE FOR HARMONISATION IN THE INTERNAL MARKET (Trade Marks and Designs) is a young community office that contributes towards the harmonious development of economic activities throughout the Community by managing a system that enables companies - European and from other countries - to acquire the rights relating to the exclusive use of signs to identify their goods or services in the vast territory of the Community (http://www.ohim.eu.int/en/default.htm). OHIM has been trusted to present in the Forum the “acquis communautaire” on protection of industrial property, i.e.: community mark, designs, models, etc wil special emphasys on the consequencies of enlargment. A study visit to OHIM is foreseen so as to get a practical vision.

EURADA, the European Association of RDAs is a non profit-making organisation aiming to promote regional economic development through dialogue with the European Commission services, interchange of good practice among members, transnational co-operation among 150 development agencies from 25 countries of both the European Union and Candidate countries (http://www.eurada.org/). EURADA will provide its technical support to Instituto for the implementation of the overall project: i.e. dissemination of the project among the associates thorugh newsletters, congress and workshops organised by EURADA; participation as potential moderator for the training workshops within the Forum; contribution with information materials or articles for the animation of the Forum and the follow-up stage, etc.

ANALISTAS FINANCIEROS INTERNACIONALES (http://www.afi.es/) is the leading Spanish consulting firm in banking and finance. It was originally set up in 1987 by a group of “Cajas de Ahorros” (Saving banks) and academics to provide macro-economic and financial analysis services. Over time, it developed consulting capabilities, spun off several specialized subsidiaries, and created an Applied Finance School. Thus, AFI´s companies are currently able to offer corporate clients an integrated service.

MONEDA UNICA (http://www.monedaunica.net/) is the most important Spanish press publication of economic information specialised in international commerce; MONEDA is organiser of the 1º International Business Congress on "the Spanish Business sector within the Enlargement scenario - Spain in the new Europe", succesfully celebrated in Madrid, january 2003.
